‘Sex Strike’

There were political designs

and discussions

for a remedy

on wars evolving

each time, from nowhere.

Negotiations were not negotiable,

so war is always fought with

someone’s reluctance.

Women, who were never conscripted

despised such events, where

the spouses frayed.

Apolitical movement started

by the women,

led by Praxagora, when

Government disallowed

the petition filed

by them, against any war

fought only by their spouses.

The military women

started a sex strike,

outside the cantonment,

wearing see-through silks,

to display the pubes.

They knew the vulnerable.

A month long strike, that was.

It came to an end,

when the lipstick

adhered to the labia.

Virile were the virs for their veerya

disobeyed the violent patriotism, and

they submitted

before Praxagora and the bevy

for no clashes.

Government failed, and

the women won.

War ended in the state.

Never was there

formed a Sparta, or

Athens.

The women were empowered

by Praxagora,

governance maintained.
